We are sad to announce that due to the passing of the store’s owner, Brett Mullins, HiFi Heaven will be closing its doors permanently. We are no longer accepting items for repair, consignment or sale.

We will be open every Saturday through June 18, 2022 from 12pm - 5pm to retrieve any items you placed with HiFi Heaven for repair, sale or consignment.

Charges for storage will begin to accrue as of June 18, 2022 on any items not claimed and the property will be deemed abandoned in accordance with law.

We are temporarily not accepting repairs at this time, and will only be open for business on Saturdays from 12 noon until 5 pm for completed repair pickups and equipment sales. 

We are also unable to take phone calls at this time.

 


 

Brett would be happy to professionally repair your pieces in a timely manner. Here’s the process:

 

Step 1

Use the contact form on this page to shoot us some preliminary information about your unit.

 

Step 2

Brett will respond by email with his opinion as to whether your unit is repairable (sometimes you just can’t get parts or service information), how long the restoration/repair process might take, and a rough estimate of the cost.

 

Step 3

To proceed with the repair, a deposit of $75 is required at this time. This deposit covers the cost of shipping the unit, the cost of preparing a firm estimate and the first 1/2 hour of labor. Brett prefers PayPal, but other arrangements can be made if need be.

 

Step 4

We send a “Call Tag” to UPS. They pick up and deliver your unit to the shop. If you are located in the DC area and you wish to drop off your repair directly to avoid shipping fees, you may indicate this on the request form.

 

Step 5

A firm estimate of the cost of restoration/repair of your unit is prepared. Brett will then contact you for final approval.

 

Step 6

After receiving your go-ahead, Brett will repair your unit as quickly as possible. All repair jobs also include a thorough cleaning of the unit, testing of all functions, and a 48-hour testing at the completion of the repair.

 

Step 7

When your unit is ready, you will be notified. Upon receiving payment in full of the remaining balance, we will ship your restored and repaired unit right back to you!
